Fishing

Yes, l'd love to go fishing with you
In the quiet of a morning dew
To seek those beneath
An unknown to bequeath,
Yes, fishing I'd like to do.

To stand on the edge of and reel
With a breeze of the gentlest feel
To be not alone
In a world of "postpone"
Yes, fishing does have its appeal.

Are you finding the fish that you seek?
In the silence it rises to speak
Allowing, its caught
Even more so in thought
Just a stone throw away, in technique.

Yes, l'd love to go fishing with you
Time spent, breathes a pleasure or two
To daydream away
The blues of the day
A refuge of worth to pursue.

M

Thank you Joe, I really have never gone fishing... but the quiet that comes with it sounds so serene...just what I need.

(smiles) Yay! Oh Maureen, I'd love to come along, yay! (does happy fishing trip dance) Hang on, let me put up my sign to let everyone know I'll just be down at the river!

(claps dust off hands with a smile) There we go! (rushes outside) This is beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

You caught a good one here...and yes, fishing seems to be life's time-out. It's something I haven't done actively since a bad experience in my teens, but right now, I miss it.
