Within the confines of my mind
there exists a quiet corner marked

Reserved...

exclusively for the memory
of our first encounter,
that moment of discovery
when you recognized
me
and I felt the heat of
you
through your heartbeat,
though you were miles away.

It’s the comfort zone I flee to
on a too-busy-day,
or a painfully lonely night.
It’s my private sanctuary.

And wouldn’t you be surprised
to know how many times
the very thought of you
has wrapped me in passionate pause
of soft silken dreams,
caressing the very air
I breathe you in
as eagerly as the night
blooming jasmine.

In jade dragoness dreams
I gratefully sip the love nectar you offer,
each drop of wisdom and beauty
nourishing and refreshing me.

And in that secret Reserved corner
of my quiet reflective mind,
I find great peace.

(sigh) Hey, that is what reserved spots are for, eh? That way we know blessings are occupying some seats and then when the rest of that auditorium fills, when much of it is disgruntled, you know you have something to look forward to! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Midnitesun, you hit this one right on, for me.  Sometimes all it takes is to center ourselves in one secret, reflective corner, and then we can breathe again.  Thanks for bringing this to light. ~K~

Wow Kacy, I’ve got one too!

I like yours so much better though!

Could you imagine what it would be like
if two people could magically switch rooms for...
say, one night...

Or better yet... if they could just go to a different one altogether...

with a sign on the door that says...

“Reserved For Two”

Now there’s a thought, worth dreaming about!

This was so moving Kacy!
