they fall
like orphans
from their whore mother
disheveled and delirious
reckless and free
anarchists
in the blank stone sky
they come in abundance
flying like dollar bills in the air
over summers raped fields
that just beg for cover
they taunt even as they
burn like witches
at the stake
poked and prodded
shoved in black plastic bags
you can still hear them crackling
like a rekinded fire
surprise surprise
they are back
and forth
and back
and forth
they haunt me
in obsession
of their plight
revolutionaries, vagabonds,
i feel their soul
as they deliver
the message of the gospel
maybe they've come
to save me?

Michelle, this made me think of the scuppernong vines that are dying. Gary's Dad has like an orchard of them. They look sad when they start dying.
Enjoyed reading this.

(big hugggssssssss) This too reminded me of vines, those growing all along the marble walls of my university I go to in Boulder, which are now auburn red! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
