Standing there, hands in my pockets
as a tear gently wound it’s way to
my stubbled chin...

Wondering, in spite of the sob that
grows closer to my lips, quivering
as the taste of a tender kiss still
touches my tongue.

The chill of night, as flurries whisk
by.  Bringing a run to a reddish nose.
A sniff to the lingering sigh.  A
blush to the cheek now cooling...
A yearn to a heart pulling slowly
away into the mist of reality.

Our moon, setting slowly, wandering
into the night upon a bed of stars.
I still hum those bars of a song that
was sung many eves upon the
embrace of you enwrapped in my
arms....

I await the dawn once more, that light
might gleam upon the reflection of
you.   And as I huddle, there beside
that street lamp, upon our corner of
lover’s earth....I shall count the
dwindling stars....till once again
a star shines within my eyes....
of you...

Hello Barry

Your words were exceptional and absolutely exquisite.  You always make my heart melt.

When you write like this, even the mist of the cool evening beads the page.
Excellent art. TD

What beautiful, beautiful words. WOW! Makes me want to walk up behind you, and whisper...don't be sad, or I will cry with you, and the ice will melt...then what?.. Do we just slide home 'cause it's so slippery?
Just had to say something to cheer you. This was so sad.

Love,
Terri~

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Barry, this is sad but beautiful, sweet friend, in the bed of stars may you always see those two clusters, brighter than Sirius, always twinkling, a celestial Chesire cat always guiding you with fond memories! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is lovely, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
