October’s Decent

yes,
I am
affected in
the change
of seasons
and it
has started
as the sun
has turned
the other way

I honestly make a conscious effort to get more light into my life during winter months... so I don't slink off into the darkness. *S*

I like this very much, lady. *S*

Me, too, Helen...but I do so love
this time of year....if it just wouldn't
get colder. I love these temperatures.

Seasons change...every single day. The season that it is today can't have a name, because it has never been before and never will be again.

It is the same with the seasons inside us.

Lady~
You are some kinda' BEAUTIFUL~
I love the softness of you spilling down the page ...

You remind me of the ocean's beaches,
after the tide has come high,
waiting for your new poetic footprints upon the shore~

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Helen, this is so very true, sweet friend, I always like my sun no matter what but I do like the colors and pleasant atmosphere of autumn! (sigh) May you always find your place in the sun, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

"yes,

the change
of seasons
and it
has started
as the sun

and I relish
the loss
of it's heat
for my night
will be warmed
by you

Sorry slick, just had to!

Loved it...j.

I like the way this poem hugs the side of the page, it makes the voice I read it a frail needful whisper.  Yes, that's what this poem reminds me of, a whispered plea for sun and summer's return.... You're not alone there

Loved this.
