Does it take a special soul
A nurturing heart and mind
Does it take the patience of saints
Who’s good-natured and kind?

To be the mother of angels
Takes a woman of special grace
All the things from heaven
Shine down on your loving face

Tears are nothing new to you
Heartache is worn in your eyes
But your angels are just like you
Their laughter is like angel sighs

When in times of deepest stress
You draw strength from heaven above
And give your children, angels both,
The perfection of a mother’s love.

Thank you all. This was written for a lady at work..her daughter's birthday is Saturday. She has two small children, the oldest is 3 and she has had severe physical problems since birth. The 4 month old baby seems to sense that there is a problem because he is the best behaved baby in the world (according to the lady - his grandma and we all know that grandma's don't lie!). So she wanted something special for the mother of 'those two angels'. When she said that phrase, the poem came into my head and was quickly written.

Sometimes it just feels right.....

Sharon do you know how big the smile on my face is? Funny how we were just talking about not writing huh?  I'm glad to see the inspiration.  I love those that inspire enough they write themselves.

And what a beautiful write at that! I love this one!! It's touching and really speaks!
My favorite I think! Looking forward to seeing you Saturday!  Excellent!

This should be handed out after every single birth (taking out the bold words of course to be generic.)

A very thoughtful and caring piece of work, she is going to love it!
