Frustration

he said the word
for the day
was frustration
and I wanted to
be able to describe it
to him as if
he could feel it
like the heavy wings
of oily midnight
crying black birds
clamoring in air
rushing the wind
of a cloudless sky
pressing much too close
covering the sun
screaming across thick
emptiness echoing sound
then I got caught
in it’s breath
and I wondered
where was it
I had heard it before
that sheer noted
noise that it had
made my mind clink
on broken glass
from yesterday’s windows
listening to the
raven’s song of
lullaby-ed loneliness
a composition from
roaring disturbance
then I annoyed
clapped my hands
as loud as I could
and they went scattering
to sit on lines
like me
waiting

How do you come up with such poetry, and so quickly?  You are always a wonderful read.

She's certainly connected to some poetic force, and it's energy flows right through her.

You're blessed Helen. And we as your readers and fans are thankful for it.

(big hugggssssssss) Let's just see this trivial talk-show host attempt to define frustration, now THERE's something, as he probably can't do so as well as you! (sad sigh) I send angel hugs your way, sweet friend, God Bless You, this is pounding, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Yes, frustration....my middle name lately, and boy do I wish I'd written this poem to describe it.
