Oh, you think you`re hard,
but do you know,
you dont have a heart?!

Well,
I was trying to understand,
but I really dont get it.
Its hard to think,
that you maybe lied.
And its hard to know,
that you left me
because of your stupid pride!

You let me looking your beautiful eyes,
listening your jokes,
adoring your smile...BUT just for a while!

If you didnt lied,
that you love me,
I dont belive that you stopped.
You couldnt
in that short time.

You and your stupid pride!
Oh, you`re somethink *fine*
but if I would leave you first,
you would no longer be ALIVE
in your stupid world of pride!

I guess you`re just a kid,
who doesnt understand,
that love is more important-
than pride!

A very feeling work. You are writing about me two years ago. When I read this, I could picture Frances writing a poem much like this one about me when I left her. The only thing worse than being the one that gets hurt, is being the one doing the hurting and realizing later just how much pain you've caused. I don't know where this conscience (sp?) came from, but win or lose, I know I am a better person. It's amazing how younger men can confuse compassion, empathy, sympathy and sensitivity with weakness. As the old saying goes, "It's such a shame that youth must be wasted on the young."

Hi, Barbara! Expressing love is very difficult for some people to do. They may feel vulnerable in giving their heart away.
Whatever the case may be, you certainly did convey your feelings very well.
