+*+*+
Drowning in
the rising tide,
no high ground,
no place to hide.

There's no safe place,
neither left or right,
nor front or back,
throughout the night.

Brain is burning,
in a fever,
no turn-off valve,
no stress-reliever.

These mares of night,
drag me through mire.
They start as soon
as I retire.

Long restless nights,
they come and go.
What brings them on,
I do not know.

Perhaps warm milk,
will sooth the beast,
'til gold sun rises,
in the east.

Noah ~

Fortunately, I seldom have nightmares. I usually have fanciful dreams of spirit and nature and fantasy and love...--when I'm not astrally travelling!

Love ya lots, Angel Boy!

I didn't think I'd ever be able to slip the harness and stop being dragged along... reading this, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude that's a ride I no longer take. *S*

Beautiful work, lady! *S*

I'm here, I'm here...
you can rest easy now...
there, there...
breath in, out, in, out...
the shadows are all gone...

It is like riding wild horses in the rain.  Accept the terror, feel the fire in the  belly of the beast!

suthern belle ~

I'm thankful that neither one of us are plagued my nightmares any longer. When I lived in the haunted student nurse's residence, I never wanted to go to sleep!--and I was in school for years!

~ May your nights be filled with dreams of sweetness

M ~

Having been plagued with nightmares when I was a student nurse living in a haunted nurses' residence, my dreams now seem even sweeter!

~ May your mares of night race into the never-ending darkness and disappear forever...
