We love our Wizard
If ever a 'Wiz' there was
Ron, you're sure the BEST!

Well it isn't exactly Shakespeare but what the heck,
it says all we want to say right?
We love ya Ron - now get some rest!

Hey Ron, want to thank you for all that you do for us - as first of all I don't think a lot of people realize just how much MONEY it costs you to keep this site running for us, let alone all the TIME you put into it.  If we need a bigger server I would sure be up for joining a membership or something to help put a little dint into the costs each month, or something.  Hey, we could make the membership allow music on their poems (winking here.)

Sure hope to hear what the problem was, but in any event - I for one wish to thank you from the bottom of a Canadian girl's heart for all you do and all that you are, to make the world a better place.  Now get yourself some much needed rest I bet.

Ron the words thank you can never be enough to express my gratitude, and I dare say everyones gratitude for giving us this wonderful place to post at and enjoy
the poetry and friendships that we do through these blue pages.  Passions is truly THE premier web site for this family we all call friends.  Whether we come here to write, read, relax among friends, or heal-we all can never repay you in any way for what you give so even though the words can never truly express what I feel about this place and all you do for the members here, I can only echoe what has already been said.
THANK YOU RON!

Thank you Ron ... you are most wonderful.

Rising from the cyber mist, an icon has appeared,
O're pages digitized in blue ... his moniker revered;
Not any ordinary man, he never seeks reward,

Content to share his gifts with all, behind the Passion's board.
A quiet man, yet strong of heart, and wise beyond his years,
Respected for his principles, by family, friends, and peers;
No, not an ordinary man ... he touches many hearts,
Each life becomes enriched by all the wisdom he imparts.
Love seems to follow him around, wherever he may roam,
Lit quietly behind the boards of Passion's happy home.

(does happy dance to the stars) Oh Ron, you are just too special to us all, sweet friend, I don't believe we could EVER thank you ENOUGH for all the time and money you spend just for us and the beauty of poetry, sweet friend, I just want you to know that I thank you with all my heart, dearest Ron, for you are the heart of Passions and because of you, you have made the most beautiful place every poet could dream of sharing their graceful words in that feels like a second family! Come on, everyone, let's give our Ron a huge group hug! (group angel hug) Yay!

Thanking you, Ron, for your generosity, for sharing your time and expertise to allow so many people to stay connected.
Somehow, a simple thank you doesn't seem adequate, but I'm not sure what else we can do to help you maintain this fantastic site. Please let us know how we can share the load.

I look at all the replies and see all the posts by everyone and feel a little out of place.  But it takes new people to keep things up and it looks like I found a pretty spiffy place.  One of my real good friends told me about this place cuz I enjoy reading poetry and wow, I was impressed.  And it sounds like we owe it all to this Ron (Wizard) fella, so Thank You.  I'll be coming here more often!

Ron,

As poets, this site is the hospital to our souls, the warm cozy blankets to our hearts,
You have gave all of these orphan poets a home, a family. Thank you for our home of love, comfort, and friendship!
As poets, we need to bleed out our souls,
release feelings to paper,(net). All my life I have felt alone as a poet, when I discovered PIP, It was like Columbus discovering America. To know and see others who write and feel the same way, I feel connected. I feel I belong, I feel understood, where understanding never existed.
This Home, this place, this family is magical, hearts are displayed in the forums everyday. No where on earth can you go and peek, view into anothers heart. So many feelings and emotions to read, feel and be even more inspired!
Thank you for the gift of Passions, thank you for YOUR passion to Poetry, thank you for a place to breathe, escape, relax, to feel, love, and to reach out to others!

THANK YOU MOST OF ALL FOR YOUR HEART!

First. That picture Mysteria posted is NOTHING like you. You are a gorgeous man.. physically and spiritually. There is no one I know who has a bigger, kinder heart.

Second. Step away from the computer! Right now! That's it. Step back. One more step. Ok (if you're like me you'll have to squint to read this part). Take some time off and relax...have some fun.

Third. Here's something I never do...

I know I don't know you, and I haven't been coming here long, but I do know how much I missed coming here. It would be really hard to explain why poetry means so much to me, but I love reading it, and writing it. Baring our souls seems to come so easy, because maybe it's important enough to do it even when we aren't sure why. Freedom to express what might not come out any other way is liberating. Thank you for such a place to do that! God Bless for what must be very time consuming, and yet rewarding at the same time. Here's to the future of all being able to express, and see others words expressed, and feeling the humanity in us all!!!

Shakesbeer (well into his cups)

Hark! Herewith a platitude betwixt the dream and time belied
reconcile the sword to sheath, I tell you, Bacon needs be FRIED.
Willy is the poet true and had he graced us on this day
He'd raise a chalice--herald you--and graciously praise page of blue.

Shakespeare may indeed be dead
but poetry lives in his stead.
(Not that you will find it here--
these words are but a burp of beer.)

But indeed, for all you do--
know this--yea--"this Bud's for YOU."

You don't miss your Passions till the server dies

Yes, thanks Ron, for burning the midnight oil and pulling the 30 hour days to keep this place up and running smoothly.  I am personally soooo greatful for this place... where I can meet new friends and enjoy such wonderful writing.... most which would have gone unnoticed and unenjoyed by many save this haven of the web.

Love ya!!!

Sherry
