Last Night

Last night, half asleep
I almost dropped the pillow
that I hold onto while
she's away.

Suddenly awakened, I realize
she's been gone for
too many days.

The pillow, a poor substitute
for the ache of loneliness.

The sorrow, as I awaken
in the middle of the night
replaces her soft caress.

Hopefully she'll return--and soon!

A very emotive write!

sad read, there is something so splendid about having her/him, that special one right there beside you, and there is nothing more important, is there?  I hope she comes home soon.  Love to you and she.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh James, this feels sooooooo sad and yearnful, sweet friend, I too kiss my pillow too much, imagining it's my dream girl! (sad sigh) I too wish for her to return soon to you, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I wish I had written this poem. It says me as well as if I had.

I know this is a little late, but I just wanted to say...that I really, really loved this peice from you, and I'm saving it, and also writing it down right now.
