where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-10-07 07:12 PM

I've lit the match,
watched the fire burn to my fingertips..
I've let it go on until
there's nothing left.

Forget your hatred, let it run rampant,
it belongs to you.
Let the tick of the clock unsettle you,
you haven't earned your comfort.
Best the anger, I will let you free.

And still, in peace, felt like a
sacrificial lamb in the presence of
an unforgiving god.
Taint my wealth of skin, digging,
intruding my depths and suffering not
to hear my screaming to the damned sky.

Do you make wonder of your lies?
Or, slept through them as if they
were non-existant pieces of plane,
destruct the soil about you..
Let not one flower grow or death would be
inevitable...
For to kill, before the even they are,
is to bless ..to take away the need
for the pain of life.. and
such a pain it can be, will be..

Tamper in the ideals of metaphysics,
uneducated the educated..
free the imprisoned.
Embrace destruction,
light the match.. become the fire.
But hold silence in your foolish words,
though you speak them,
hold them in contempt.
Remind these unruly words of their
meaninglessness.

Tell them they belong in the sky,
where even echos are accepted.
Even worshipped for their repetitive nature.

This is the fire..
the wave of chaos..the silent death
of all that never
was.

Wow!

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Don't choke on the smoke, just let the words sting your eyes.
