Saluting with misty eyes

Art she is
Yet she hangs not
With her beauty
For the world to see
Seductive.... Reflective
Her medium cleansing
I gaze at her
Longingly.... Lovingly
For hours it seems
Wondering how
Not understanding why
As I see her
In her glory reflected
Baring her soul to me
It is mine to know
She is yet a mirage
To be seen in the mind
And felt within the heart

Thanks, Ron for your hard work in getting us back on-line

Blues Serenade- Thank you very much. It is appreciated.

Richy- She definately holds a special place. Thank you for your kind words.

Sue- Actually,I think I am the lucky one that she is in my life, and that she was able to inspire this little scribble. I'm just hoping this one sticks around a while.

Wondering how
Not understanding why

Brad, I feel this exact same way about my Love. He doesn't like me to say that, though. He says that he wonders "why" and "how" I fell in love with him.
Hugs  to you both
