I dreamed this silly thing up thinking about
NAN'S poem, called, SPUDDLIN’.
Hope you give it a read on a rainy day like I did.

Here is the link: /pip/Forum77/HTML/000078.html

~* God, I Got Those 'Spuddlin' Rainy Day Blues *~

What!
You wanted rain – you got it,
Quiet! What good will wimping do?
With the rain, comes the fog
Of course you have no view!

What used to be your postcard
Is now a bit opaque and gray.
Now you pray to me and say,
“God, take the rain away?!”

I wonder are you ever happy,
With cards held in your hand?
Life is full of ups and down
Not at all like Disneyland.

Enjoy what you were given,
Make the most of it each day,
For when this day is gone,
Remember ~ it is gone to stay!

On days like this, I go and read,
Nan’s poem, it's called just, "Spuddlin’."
Read it, then put on your boots,
Then go and 'spuddle' your adrenalin.

Be thankful for your lot in life
After all, it's you've got.
Don't sweat all the little things,
Does it matter if it rains or not?

~*~

He he, I wanted rain, well I've got it, but forgot about the fog.  Darn stuff hides my beautiful view.  Oh well, as they say, “the sun will come out tomorrow,” right?  Right?

hehe this is just too cute... but I don't know if the fog'll go away, the guy on Global BC said that it's going to hang around for a few days... meanwhile, the Interior is nice and clear and has been all morning... I think I'd rather have the fog though, there's something about fog that gets my creativity spinning out of control

Life isn't really all that bad... just don't take it too seriously

Well, it's not raining here but is quite dreary.  Perfect day for staying warm under the covers!!  And hey...at least it's not snow, huh???

Welcome Dixie.

Skyfire, you have sun?  Boy I can't see a thing down here LOL, nada thing!  Now go pretend you have fog, and write a poem about it

Duncan - See I love the snow!  I live on a mountain actually and can hardly wait but I will take you up on the "under the covers kinda day"

Thanks for joining in my fun today.

Cute write Sharon...although I think I would rather have the mild weather and rain than the cold temps and snow showers we've been having in Ontario.
And...the leaves have just barely started to change.

(smiles) Awwwwwwwwww, this is sooooooo cute, sweet friend, I remember Nans poem she submitted for Reflections and it was very beautifully playful just as yours is! (kiss on cheek) The sun may not be out today but it'll be out tomorrow, in the meantime, let's go splash in the puddles, yay! (does happy puddle dance) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

When life seems too befuddlin'
Take time to do some spuddlin'
Go splashin' while it's puddlin'
For smi-l-in' out loud...

Thank you, my Mysterias friend - I'm greatly honored to have inspired this beauty.  Foggy?  I'm picturing that incline of yours all socked in...

Sharon, the sun is shining bright and the sky is crystal blue
plus it's a cool Fall day. I'll send you some.

This poem sure has me giggling. How cute!!
