state of confusion

If

This span of dirt could melt between us,
scatter in the wind, into specks of a past,
it’s not that impossible to imagine,

If my twin can call me to her coast
and I listen to her as I would myself,
and cities don’t bar the way
if prayers should fall up,

then change might be the thing,
a chance to draw you and I
away from the dust of wintry rooms
to where the sun keeps snow at bay.

I wonder if you’re willing,
if love’s worth is enough
to risk all the pain of uncertainty;
tossing what we’ve clung as though
it’s only exhaled air,

we’d scratch our own names into wet sand
between palms and the shore.

Beautiful Corinne...wonderful imagery.

Whoh! They are amazingly powerful images.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Oh Corinne, if this speaks of
something very real...I would certainly say
go for it...

but if it is just something you caught
passing between others,
you read them very, very well...

Corinne

Distance can be so far or as close as the fingers of your hand.  Enjoyed this bittersweet beauty!

This is so beautiful, Corrine.
Kind of sad, but still beautiful.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Corinne, being in a long distance relationship with Joanna that collapsed on New Years Day when Joanna confessed she never loved me, I know the pain ever so well and half-heartedly it is best to have to say "if" in reluctance to so much! (sad sigh) I wish you the greatest happiness and may those "ifs" become "indeeds", God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
