~* Winged In Expectation *~

Barely dawn, tiny creatures scatter.
Day is proclaimed at an apple tree.
Again so sadly she saunters,
dressed only in morning’s sweet song,
shawled in wings of expectations and sighs.

Gently rubbing evening’s sleepy,
dreams of love from her eyes,
she glows in anticipation of their promise.
Reaching for an apple,
she sits, searching the intricate
fragments of the evening’s dreams, then …

Suddenly hearing her soul’s music
ignite a rhythm of cupid’s song,
delicate bare feet tickled
by the mists of morning dew
dance frantically to the rhythm of
expectation, hope and dreams.

Birds peek through nature’s wicker,
white-washed with misted spattered greens
expecting to harmonize
in songs of love with her heart.

Wanton, sad wings of flight pulled close.
she sits for a spell in the garden
so no one sees her silent tears.

With head bowed in prayer,
deafening sorrow blocks
songbirds who sing in empathy
twittering hope of tomorrow's love.
Gently an apple fall,
catching it in a needy hand,
as a sign of promises to be kept.

~* ~

Just a little something!
I had to write on this new art I found from Linda Bergkvist
(my favorite computer artist).

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sharon, this is sad but beautiful, sweet friend, there will always be silver apples of the moon too and soon enough she will find them and it'll lead her right to tasting the beauty of true love she desires! (kiss on cheek) Linda Bergkvist's painting here is soooooo pretty, sweet friend, I just love it when everyone shares different featured artists with their poetry and so we get to know and appreciate art ever so more! (smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sharon,

My God
I am proclaiming this write
as MINE

I am winged after all, you know

Wanton, sad wings of flight pull close.
She sits for a spell in the garden
So no one sees her silent tears.

With head bows in prayer,
Sorrow blocks the sounds of
Birds singing her songs of hope,
That tomorrow will bring love,
As gently apples fall
Giving signs of promise.

Amazing, you put me there
under that tree . . .
Absolutely amazing writing

I adore the artist shown here, and even if I don't post I always write poetry to her work as it is so beautiful in my mind.  I have to admit I had someone in mind when I wrote this, so if they want it, I guess it is theirs thank you for reading it.

Well? Everything came together in this write Sharon. The poem is as lovely as the art.

Nicely done, and if not for Susie, too late!
She's laid claim to it!

Gee, thank you all so much but I think the credit goes to the artist, boy she is good, here have a look and see.  You may notice I use tons of her art.  Linda, lives in Sweden and is only in her late 20's.  She did the art on the front page of my home page, and then asked to use it as my signature art for Mysteria or Mysteriasmuse.
