Counting every drop of air,
swallowed partially
and spit away,

I think we are tired
from too much sleep,
or perhaps from spinning
for too long.

lets join hands now:
A human sphere
that smears and smears
and fades away

I am a totally
separate piece,
photosphere
comes through in grey
mixed with grey…

We are a new race-
half human,
and
half bird
no feathers, no eyes

JUST

a pretty piece of glass
cutting through the atmosphere

here’s to slowly standing up,
here’s to pushing us to the ground
here is to the wordless song:

I drown every day.

this is for tasting sour air,
this is for Fridays and Mondays,
for Saturdays and Sundays.

This is for rectangles, triangles, circles and squares:
the shapes we use to distort our vision

twists and twists
till’ there’s no more:
motion sickness
wins the war

And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!"

Is it just me, or did you give them a picture where the resolution is too low, and therefore you're a pixellated human?

Excellent work, Wind.
Your mind intrigues me....

Wonderful Wind. This is a fine piece of writing. The best I have read this morning. As for the picture I thought it was okay. The old one was fuzzy...this one seems a little sharper. At least you can see the shape of the face now. Wish I could write like you girl. Keep it up!

Liz, you look hauntingly beautiful in your photo. Fine features and incredible depth in your eyes--or are they just out of focus? lol

Your poem is a trip and a half!

Liz, I love this poem...even if
I did get dizzy reading it. ahahahaha!!
Seriously, my litlle friend, I sure did
miss you while we were gone, though I did
see you over yonder yesterday. I would have
e-mailed you, but couldn't find your
address.

Oh, this picture is really pretty. You already
know that, don't you? LOL Seriously, it's
really good, Liz. It's a lot better than
the others you had on here. You look older
in this one than you did the others. I hope
that's good to hear.  LOL

Love ya, my friend
