The air started out brisk,
a walk replacing a ride
my own treads needing a workout
selftalking, a great conversationalist
even when alone.

I question my fears, but smile
as I remember that last kiss
and the warmth that flowed
even moments after, and after and after...

I saw no one in my view,
just pleasant thoughts
and sun's warmth to lead me, guide me
to a destination of relaxation.

Of course a stopover and a "cool one"
aided the mind to taste only the blessings
that are in my life, those whom mean much to me,
those whom I wish to mean more
and those who coddle me when needed.

No, I saw no one to speak of,
no one to speak to,
but the air whispered its softness,
and your suggestion was not lost on me.

Thank you, Ron

M

thank you Susan..this was for Cpat Ron who  wanted something "lighter" I think.
not sure I succeeded but the day is half over and for that I am grateful.

Kaoru, I don't think anyone can kiss as well as that one I continue to feel. And that memory deserves a thank you, also. Maybe I need to be kissed more often.

Ah..now M... tell me. Did the chance you took and the view you saw, not lighten the load you felt? Is it not good, to step utside the self at least once in a while and revel in the pure decadent extravagance of

a smile?
well done my friend.. well done indeed!

thank you again, Glenn for your attention...

and yes, Good Dr. Ron (wasn't that interlopers job back when)

you gave me the correct prescription, although I may be a little too loose with my thoughts at the moment..but it is funny how my typing has improved..what gives ??

(laughing) too loose with your thoughts??? I didn't know that was a possibility... I certainly hadn't noticed...

as for the typing... you are more relaxed... why wouldn't you type better?

well.. capture that lighter side and tomorrow... go to town and watch people shop... have some coffee or tea and just sit and listen, then tell the stories of what you saw, but of course with a license to make them yours not theirs...

all sorts of courage out there, all sorts of love and acceptance..some simple some complexly woven into a lifetime of just coping.. tell their stories my friend...and in the process you'll tell your own.

love it - I find myself doing this a lot when the weather gets colder.  I always take long walks by myself, just to be alone with my thoughts

The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love another.

"Why Not?"

That, good lady, is the most enabling question in the English language!

...as you well know, eh?

Ah yes...smiling here...because it's good to see YOU
smiling, Maureen...just what the doctor ordered...

Thanks for sharing the smile...

Hugs to you, my friend,
