where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-10-03 02:37 PM

Touch the crimson
blade, oh love.
I see the withered
hair hanging
as moss on tree.
Must the eye slant
so beautifully,
oh tender touch of sight..

How often is
a tragedy accepted..
in the midst of things,
they are rarely
a bit of beauty.
But here, here you have
the tears
drowning the audience.
Even if it is
only of one,
touch me silently
grasping..
the warmth of sadness.

Scream your pain oh,
love is your lung in vain?
The blood flows, never ceasing
to
grow as
moss upon the trees..
How ever you have to remind me..
Of the suffering
in song.
Enlighten my senses,
the skin of
my own will
rise in the wind.

"the warmth of sadness"
indeed Kaoru, that is what makes poetry beautiful,
and yours is.

You almost made me cry over the description of hair....

Your talent is ungodly. Demonic, perhaps.

I am absolutely amazed with your work.  There is really one other that writes as you, but is older and more seasoned and I never miss one of Martie's poems, but I have now added you to my daily dose.  Exceptional work, and you picked an exceptionally brilliant song to do as well.  I take my hat off to you young lady poet, you are exceptionally good!
