Finger Bowl

I sat
at the table
waiting for
my fill
from an
unsuppressed hunger
and instead of
a platter
of meat
before me
was placed
a finger bowl
in surprise
I looked
around questioning
others were
dripping juice
in satisfied
wide mouthed
distracting frenzies
so I
pulled close
the bowl
seeing clearly
my reflection
breaking surface
I plunged
      all around
      me hushed
      and an ocean
      suddenly appeared
      and one
      drop of
      your faith
      cleansed me

Why, it's just like stepping through the looking glass.

Excellent writing!

(smiles) This is most lovely, sweet friend, Mother Nature offers us the most delicate fruits and to taste its familiar dew is truly tasting faith! (kiss on cheek) I love this, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

Ma love and light always shine upon you!

"and instead of

It may be that you were given such a tiny taste as an invitation...have you placed an order? It may be that all you have to do is ask, just say what it is that you would have.

      "and an ocean
      suddenly appeared
      and one
      drop of
      your faith
      cleansed me"

And it may be that you are such, have such bounty within yourself already, that the fingerbowl is all you need.

Or I could be wrong. It could be something else entirely.....
