How Toerag Got his Name

Toerag was a sorry tike
His parents made him ride a bike
For when he tried to run and play
He’d stub his toe in every way

He’d stub his toe just black and blue
So he could not wear a shoe and
Every where that he would go he’d
Wear a rag upon his toe.

His friends made fun of him of course
So humor was his source of force
And he became a teaser terror
Enlarged upon the smallest error.

Even used the mortar fibs
If he could not do adlibs
His way to gain an audience
No matter what the circumstance.

He is a force of course of course
But much too coarse a sauce

ROFL... I've always wondered what his childhood was like... the most he'll ever tell me is that his parents spent a LOT of time talking to teachers and principals! LOL

LOL
Wondered how the name came about. This is so cute and I like the name Toerag it has sort of a smelly sound or is that a silly sound? LOL
Cute one.

Well Sy, I see you're trying to best me one....have to think about that....by the way, my name..."Toerag" came from a wonderful lady that used to write here a good bit.....Rainbowgirl as you know her....she was a Brit....I used to tease her some, (I know, you'd never expect that from a quiet shy guy like me, but I did)...and she used to call me a Toerag all the time...I understand a Toerag is slang...a "Rascal"...one always into mischief...over in England...I know, it really doesn't fit me at all...but, that's where my name came from...before that I was simply "Buzz"...and, there's no reason to go into why I had that name now is there?

Seymour, this is cute! And I'll believe it's true no matter what Toerag says to the contrary.

Toerag is a rogue, but a fun one. Thank you for the comment.
