I planted a white ribbon tree.
Pale-bow flowers in its boughs.
They reflect the sunlight
like sheets of unread poems.

To the ground, the ribbons fall
and scatter verses to the earth.
They curve against the soil,
silver-edged and pure.

When the morning sparks them so,
they flare like mirrors from their vantage,
rustling up within the crown's
long, thin, high-grown limbs.

One day, I hope to walk below
its branches spreading out in silence.
Someday, pray, its buds stay closed.
Then I want to shake it down.

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, dearest friend, I just visited their official web-site and though I am not a Canadian, I really want to join this campaign too as I am a male who believes it is morally wrong always to abuse any woman and all this violence MUST STOP NOW! (wipes tears) You have a true compassionate and golden heart that will make all women happy, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Mikey,

no need to pray
you are shaking it down
What a beautiful man . . .
and this is so . . .
selfless
*smile*
no amazement here though
I knew this about you already
