Love Letters

in my wait
I found you
in poetry
my very breath
spoke your name
and echoed between
my heart’s lullaby
in strongest beat
skin never before
ached this until
letters created a
romance in song
hands once clinched
found them open
and wrapping another’s
then and only then
did I know
no part of
me unfulfilled
once a language
of longing
so vastly hollow
forever now
to be gone
and now new
words find me
walking unknown steps
and no night
shall find me
without you

Ah Geez, Helen!
This is beautiful! (And yes, "language" sometimes fails us, no?)

Thank you, so much, for this very sweet thought.....written!

Hugs, friend

You have worded this perfectly. Ed is my older brother and I love seeing his talent noticed. You are one beautiful writer.

Sounds like something
that should be kept
in case there ever
be any type of
ceremonious
reason to
have it
read

aloud....

(smiles) Yay! Oh Helen, this is absolutely beautiful, sweet friend, love letters are always so magical and feel like some special someone is half-there as handwriting is golden and poetry in ink creates song! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Helen?

My God . . .
this is utterly beautiful
and passion bounding
YOU My Lady
are one fine poetess
As I sit here and read
I cannot believe I am so blessed
as to have a friend
to write beauty
from her hand
meeting my eye
in love
and life
words . . .
felt
within my heart
on these pages
to your eyes
which see
far beneath
the surface
life
begging her to ride
to fly
to swim freeform
among the waves
which bide her time
a watchful eye
the ocean
embraces her sweet soul
inside of her
resides
the elements
of Earth
as they once were forged
from unforeseen hands
to lie
in wait
and awake
to the morning
of the Lady
standing
cool waters rush
barefoot in her purity
feet and toes
melting sand
castle
sweet breeze
upon cheek
she smiles
upon me
and my love
within her own wondering
wanting and wishing
within her
a fire burns
bright
fuel to flame
flame to hand
hand to mouth
and eyes which shine

Helen, thank you so very much
for this and you
a beautiful soul
I am a happy woman
and this has made my chest fill
with life . . .

*smiling HUGE*
a beautiful woman indeed
So selfless . . .
thank you
Sue
