Sorry if it offends, my first post...

Where is the love in this world of war?
Who is to blame and what is the score?
When will we leave this ancient art to sleep?
What should we throw away, and what should we keep?

Heard a child scream in the night.
Heard a sniper doing what he thinks is right.
Heard a commander whispering a command.
Heard a thousand souls leave this land.

Woke to the taste of blood.
Woke from a dream into a nightmare.
Woke to another day without love.
Woke up and realized I did care.

Killed the life deep inside.
Killed my soul, when I made them die.
Killed the thought that would set me free.
Killed it, and became a different me.

Now it is time for me to go.
My command says "Is that so?".
I turn around and find my old me.
I hear a click, and know I will soon be free.

(big hugggssssssss) Offend? Why, you did nothing but deeply touch my heart with this powerful debut, sweet friend, where is the love indeed, and I never tolerate leaders who lie or thirst for war and it truly is a nightmare and I hope soon every one of us can find our own purified selves again and dream easily with love! This is marvelous, I love it! Welcome to Passions, sweet friend, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your incredible poetry, sweet friend, we all love you so much, and be sure to check your E-mail for a very special greeting from all of us here at Passions just for you! You have such a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

you don't have to be in favor of war to be a patriot.  I stand for my country, but when it is wrong, I stand and say so.  Thank you for so saying.  82nd Airborne, A 1st, 320th FA, and welcome!!! to Passions 1971-72
