A bit more seasonal than it was the first time around.

Long, hot days of summer
draw nearer to an end
as the harvest moon shines down
and autumn’s flights begin.

Cool October winds
breathe upon a land
of brilliant forest colors
painted by a magic hand.

Fields  lie stark and barren
as the season’s crops are done,
but days are far from lazy
when winter’s sure to come.

Across the hillside echoes
haunting, lonesome calls
as the wolf song serenades
the coming of the fall.

I wish that was the way this Fall was going...It's dropped 20 degrees like a snap of a finger...No mild weather or comfortably cool nights...It's damn cold. It's gonna be a looong harsh winter...-sigh- At least this gave me some comfort, brought back memories of past fall seasons. Thanks, Eddles.

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.
