Cinnabar & Iron Gall

This…
is as deep as a feeling
may delve

It would require
a mixture
of cinnabar and iron gall ~
then a special form
of calligraphy

if you were to view
only
the words left behind

of the depth

of a soul

in search

~*~

Combining potions
Extracting soul emotions
A spirit in gasp

"A spirit in gasp."  So good, K.  Today was passive...but look out tomorrow.  There is fine line between optimism and realism.  I am realistic enough to know I better put my running shoes on and leave the high heels at home tomorrow.

An excellent write!

Nothing like mixing (separately, of course)
the delicate fragrance of a lady's perfume
with the dark harshness of iron gall,  the
perfect ink...for one's mind to concoct and
lay upon the mind...a potion of poetic
expression....
