Sapphire light wondering where to be the happenstance With the sweet sound of sea at our backs… My muse and me…and The brass wings of gulls tasting its influential liquor Intoxicated on salt air, early morning dew and endless summer I pick coral berries while emptying words from my mind Those silly little aggressive characters of expression and rhymes Which manipulate complexities from far beyond Producing something vigorous, like a ballad of early times I kick and scream, fending off this entire uninvited muse My imagination is on vacation! I scream now not another word! I’m lost in a single episode of highly dramatic nature Without being melodramatic or rude, this reflection is a persistent meddler Whew, wiping relief from my brow, my muse has finally taken the hint Was I subtle enough, or simply quadrupling acoustics? This sharp-witted miracle of concise comprehensive appearance Has agreed to my needs for nature’s idealistic purpose Now I’m open to the octaves of diversion, and rhyme of sea Iambic meters loading my senses with an intimate spiritual scene A couplet am I, in a multiple cosmic marriage of true mind Devotional this love poem, abstract & in great need of quality time I see the December moon reflective, in azure meditative pools Friendships with automatic choice of expressionless rock-hard virtues There is a tune of harmony within this exhilarating achievement Of no thoughts at all, devotional quiet is a sonnet of listening sequence A cosmic purpose, of expressions intense From a true mind which rubs shoulders with John the Baptist |
