Who could not want to embrace you
squeeze your soul within an inch of its aura
every second you are alive?

You sigh
and say
who will embrace me
when you are gone?

I will

For you shall never lose my scent
I leave trails for you to follow
pockets overflow
spilling each hour of unconditional
you gave and give
to this mind

You will never lose me

For I hold you
dear mother
in every second I breathe
iron cast love

You may be stung
left among those who choose
to shy away from familiar skin

And I will wonder how they
can manage so distant
from you
earth mother
your very nature
carried roots
deep to yours
and entwined

Our embrace mother
is a dip in the wind
a place serene
that never ceases to exist

together and apart

Who will hold you, when I am gone?

I will.

Ohh gemma - but you have been
holding each other
far before your time on this plane
This I know in my chest
You are reaching heights
unimaginable
