I wrote this for a woman who sits next to me in class... I wonder if she'll like it...

gentle woman, so quiet and calm
leaving nightfall's embrace
to join the sea of endless faces
watching and waiting
for another less to begin
preparing her for the world
that awaits her
so close, yet so very far
her presence felt so clearly
she is so warm, so kind
like rays of the morning sun
as they grace a gentle rose
filling it with the warm
of life's loving embrace
oh if she only knew
of the grace within her heart and soul
blessing all who know her
with the light of her radiance
but so too soon the lesson ends
and nightfall shall greet her once more
returning home as she always does
ending another glorious day
never knowing that this night
she touched the heart
of a most undeserving poet
without word or glance
but by the beauty and grace
within her loving heart
radiance so very rare
within the darkness of the night

Fear destroys the mind, depression destroys the soul... only love and compassion may save you from death.
