where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-09-30 03:16 AM

I toss you, fruitless,
decaying as a summer breeze.
You'll not come down,
you'll cease fighting gravity.
Your eyes, reflecting pools
of ageless thought.
In drought of words, my tongue left dry,
and unable to pronounce a language
I was born to speak.
And in tired jaw, still clenching,
I wish so much to kiss you..
even though you're not here.

Thus,
I will write a volume that will never
be bound by time.
I will confess in a million ways how I
have sinned in your favor..and will always,
in a deep gaze, dim the sun so you may see.
In partial mirror, the reflection of
a tragic feast.. Where we
gather in vibration, the sound of
eachother's voice.

And as if our hands were see-through,
we will shake the stars..
Quake as dice we'll roll them
as though they've never been wished upon..
By you, by me, by children...Those
weightless dreams, they hold no burden untill
they are wasted.

Hand, in hand we'll suffer for what once
we believed .. in naive and contagious
ability.. I'd prefer to be infected by you,
If there ever were such a disease..
You would crush me as a dried rose petal or
fall leaf, yet heal me with
the enlightenment of pain.

The torment is unsurpassed, a
lingustic memoir of how love leaves us alone.
And yearning will never end, and never
in our favor will we speak of this
torture again..

For one day..one simple day,
perhaps in a favorable season..we will join
forever..
in a moment underneath the sky,
we may crawl without doubt that we
belong together.
We were meant to speak, and defy
gravity.

Forget defying gravity... this just plain defies explaination... how can you get any better???

(big hugggsssssss) Gravity is not applicable to many things, and desire is one of those things in my mind! (sigh) Substance is all part of it but all we feel is immune to that force and so there is no doubt in my mind this day will come when those stars finally allign for you! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Meghan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
