Dichotomy

Alas poor human I knew him well
The flesh is torn but his smart does dwell
His sew has left an impasse deed
And now we suffer with his seed.

He’s fouled the air the land the sea
And fouled the life was left for me
He’s eaten the apple in his goal
And even fouled his very soul

But somewhere in the abyss
Lies a micro speck of bliss
And this is where I search the core
To fan the light to bright once more

He is a true dichotomy
A muse of two polarities
And will if given time enough
Reverse the polls and change the stuff.

It’s here I try to stanch the rend
Perhaps we can a better end

Sometimes I think all there is left to do is write a better ending.

(and at first I thought this was about someone I knew--but then I realized you were talking about a HUMAN. )

You are the poster poet for the enviroment Sy-babes...I do so admire your rhyme scheme stream of conscious ...
Mother Nature smiles at your rhymes divine...she sings them as a lullaby to Father Time.

Seymour darling man I’m so rarely in the forums these days, or if I am, I’m in and out again very quickly. Still I had to stop by and read and reply to your wonderful poem, as always its excellent darling man, I love it utterly, utterly, utterly.

You really are a fine writer and this is exceptionally good, wonderful.

Love and warm stuff

Good Morning Sy...I agree mankind can be both the problem and the solution...the question is which choice will be made..

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Seymour, this is so very touching, dearest friend, I fear that in the future, when mankind has finally ravaged this planet and see the ugliness around them, they regret all they did and there's nothing they can do about it (sad sigh) I pray it isn't too late, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
