He could not have taught me as much
had he been
a wise old chap
than
fresh faced beautiful boy
yet to be man
that he is

Is it wrong of me
though
to want to strip him of all credit
name unmentioned
forgotten
Am I wrong
when he never did right
by me?

I'd give him credit for inspireing all these little treats. nothing more.

It's poetic justice. He didn't give you what you deserve, but you're giving him what he deserves.... Yeah, that works.

Gemma, dear, you have spoken well for a few of us on here. It is totally his loss, and hopefully he'll realize that and see his error after you have traded up.
Great job.

Inspiration at it's greatest can be taken from the soul experience of pain, and no...you are not wrong, my friend, but know that there will be inspiration from happiness to balance it out...excellent write...~S~

greater passion = greater loss = greater grief = greater joy in the end, hopefully.  unless like me you try the same over and ... ;-}
