 Graphic By Lindas Signatures ~*~ A year has rolled around since here I came to this beautiful home of Passions In Poetry Many happenings have occured from there to here we share them in words for the world to see There has been a loss we all have felt of one of our members of this sweet family of friends Our little Chipmunk Lyra, who was loved by all her words in our hearts will have no end There have been babies with loving poems about them and their beautiful little faces for all to see Showing photos of them through their growth some surely will later poets to be Happiness and sorrow have been in our lives as we all must walk along this road The happiness we share so all can be glad and the sorrows we help each other to carry the load Some have come and some have gone from these pages of blue we visit each day We always hope when a new one stops by they will love us so much they will stay There is a prayer circle always going on to pray for each and every need that we will share This chain we have brings about miracles through the wonderful gift of prayer On this, my one year anniversary I thank you all, my wonderful Family Of Friends The love, friendship, compassion, and care of Passions I hope and pray , never, ever ends ~*~ [This message has been edited by garysgirl (09-28-2003 02:27 PM).] |

I feel kind of guilty being the first to post at this poem since I have probably been here the least amount of time, but I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for being such a wonderful person to me, and so kind since I have been here. There is not a doubt in my mind it would not be the same without you. I appreciate the way you have touched my life. Thank you isn't enough, but in my inadequacy I only hope you will know human frailties make me fall short.  I know an  when I see one, and I know a blessing, too. Thanks for all the kindnesses. Oh Gemma, my sweet friend. You know, it doesn't seem like I've been here at Passions for a year. You are one of the ones who have made this place such a pleasure to come to....and make it feel like home. When you can't be here for some reason, I miss you a lot...your poetry and your replies. I always know, though, that even if you aren't here when I post a poem, you will probably find it when you do come on again. You always encourage me with your replies, written with love. I love you, too, my little friend!! . . Oh sweet Seymour....thank you, my friend. You know how I love your beautiful poetry. Your rhymes are devine and you always sprinkle some wisdom in there with the dreamy poems you write for us every day. You are also very nice with your encouraging words in replies. When you've done your disappearing acts from Open, I'm always looking through the pages in Discussions and everywhere to see if I can find you. You, my little friend, have become a very big part of our Passions family in the (almost) year you've been here. I love your replies to me and I love the excellent poetry you write, too. Thank you, little WindyOne. . . Ringo, the musician......It has been good for you to join out family. I love your poems, and you always have nice replies for everyone. Thanks for your thanks to me!! . . Linda Lou, I don't know where to begin with telling you how I feel. As you know, when I first came to Passions, you kind of took me under that Angel wing of yours...just as some of the others here did. I thought that you had been here for ages from the way you were so friendly with your replies to everyone. I always know that if I were to only get two or three replies on a poem, yours will be one of them. You always have words of encouragement for me and Gary, too. We both appreciate you, Linda. Karilea, you are one of the others here at Passions who is a pillar of our home.....always there willing and ready to help not only me, but each and every new member who comes into Ron's home. I'm glad that during the process of your helping me, we became friends. Do you remember the first few times I posted a poem here? I tried so hard to get it on the page the way I wanted it to look. Finally, you went into it and edited it for me and fixed it perfctly. You told me that you hoped that I didn't mind that you did that. I was so grateful for that. You spread your Sunshine all over Passions, and I appreciate it!! Thank you for being you. . . Sue, my LittleOne friend.....I know...it seems like I've know some of these people always. You being one of those. When you first came to Passions, your friendliness and bubbly personality couldn't help but shine. Even when I could tell, by some of your poems, that you were going through some dark, troubling times, you always had a smile and a hug for everyone. Always uplifting and wanting to help others. Thanks, Little One for always being here for me. . . Thank you, Paul, for your sweet words. You are a real gentleman. Suthern, I am so happy that you have started coming to Passions more often. You, sweet Ruth, are one of the most compassionate and tender-hearted people I have ever known. How do I know this? It shows in all your poetry and each of your replies. I really thank you for the many times you've helped and encouraged me with your words. Thanks for being who you are, sweet friend. You are a very special person. . . Vicky, I thank you, my friend, for being YOU. You are always there with a friendly and loving word of encouragement for all.
