beyond the doors of perception

A contemplative moment on the Yellowstone River, the only undammed major river in North America.  Montana is the Last Best Place!  My wife used to tell me that I didn't march to the beat of a different drummer, I meandered.

In the meadows of my dreams
this life is not as it seems
Where is the River wending it's way?
Is it, perchance, just passing this day?
Unfettered, undamned, like the meandering Yellowstone
the Last Best Place hasn't dried that bone
Or watering, irrigating the fields of my hope?
In which flowers of vision were sown with the same...
And just as the vision blossoms for a time
then the vision fades without reason or rhyme

By context unlimited by the simple dyadic
nature of things to opposites which attract
Knowing that life, as good as it can
desires the more good to truly understand
the reason for being this person present
Am I just Hell-bound, or truly Heaven sent?

Though it matters not as I sit by the River
in the Silence life has something to deliver
Ever far reaching, beyond theosophics
even sublimating itself to mere mechanics

Enraptured by the flora and fauna
soul effervescing as a thermal sauna
Infused with enthusiasm of understated passion
Meandering to a different tempo in my own fashion

Peace, Joe

(smiles) I just love this, sweet friend, Yellowstone is such a pretty place and I only wish Mother Nature can get more respect elsewhere beyond here! (big hugggssssss) Your muse meanders with grace, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joseph, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
