Listening to every heart

The dog-eared page was there
as a reminder
that what was contained within
spoke
not out loud
or in a temper

but in a kind way
nudging the reader
along a path.

Little inklings penned your thoughts
along his,
the dog-eared pages took me
directly to them.

I remember how you felt,
deeply,
and I could not yet comprehend
this intensity.

I understand now.

But the dog-ears
had to lead the way.

If some one day
you should find my thanks
do realize
they were finally born
with intensity.

You always did call me
a late bloomer.

Better to bloom late than to wither on the vine! LOL

Hey, I have been deemed one of those late bloomers, too...there is something said for the excitement of youth in your forties, K!

Take what you need and leave the rest behind...or you will go crazy.

Great write!

well I was an early bloomer, and I'm still blooming richere in late middle age.  Sometimes the bloom lasts a life time.  And secondly, I'm a little uncomfortable in mixed company when women talk about their bloomers ;-}

I can see it! See it, and you. Well done. Common thing to say we wish we'd written something -- so instead I'll say I wish I had your insight.

Karilea....goosebumps, lump in throat.

This means much to me, it reminds me of a dog eared page of my own, and notes within pages.

keeping this.

You have wowed me!

(big hugggsssssss) At least you have bloomed, and that is all that matters, for flowers always bloom at whole different times of the year just as some read fast and some prefer reading slow to get the gist of everything! (smiles) This is wonderful, sweet friend, now here's a poem to dog-ear and return to, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
