Sir Critic

Come out; come out wherever you are
Do not hide behind anonymity.
You kill artists of all colors and creeds-
The painter, the actor, the writer, the musician,
the fashion designer
and the owners of new restaurants.
You attack the sensitive because you are
weak and afraid.
You throw your words like
slashing balls of fire,
not caring who you hurt and destroy.
Come out; come out
Sir Critic.
Share your talent with the world.
Paint us a Monet, become a star in the
grandeur of Gregory Peck.
Be a writer in the style of Hemmingway
or
like the Athenian philosopher Socrates.
Lets hear you play an instrument,
a piano, with the enchanting sound of the
Great Giovanni.
Play a guitar with the mesmerizing rhythm
like that of the talented
Craig Chaquico.
Design a fashion show having your beauty paraded down a catwalk to everyone's delighted amazement.
Create us a meal that is delicate to the palate
and
entices our senses and sends us into unbearable ecstasy.
Come dear Critic
Let us see your brilliant talent
Share your enlightened knowledge.
Are you afraid of what
Sir Critic
will fling your way?
Will he send burning words of destruction in your direction?
Ah!
Sir Critic.
Come out; come out wherever you are.

Love Bon-Bon

Enjoyed this, Bonnie.  It put me in mind [of all people]...Jack Benny.  You know, I'm sure, that in order to play the violin as badly as he did...he had to know it inside out...and was an exceptional violinist.  But some critics do lead me to wonder what their qualifications are, other than an acerbic tongue.

Thank goodness, we don't suffer them in CA!!!  We've got some mighty fine, gifted analysists in there...and I've appreciated every one!

(shouts triumphantly with power) That's right, fight the power, you go girl! (smiles) I believe the worst job in the world is a critic, and I am dead honest when I say this, because they are just like cynics in my opinion, who waste their life analyzing others and never getting to know the beauty in themselves! (sad sigh) Being a critic is a slow way to die, dearest friend, I say either you like it or you don't in your heart, God Bless You, I pray soon the world will be without cynics and critics, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bonnie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Critics are right up there with Bozo the clown at the state fair.. No friends, no life.. a rotten job, but somebody has to do it.  Yuck.
