beyond the doors of perception

Sitting here quietly listenin'
  for a glimmer of hope
  a glint or a glistenin'
So much around me
  seems to to astound me
But it takes the GrandOne
  to center and ground me
Moments in silence
  without observation
Empty the mind
  lull the conversation
Something surrounds me
  begins to abound in me
Quietly, lightly, fleetingly free
Cease the thoughts that return to me
seized by the thoughts that return to me
Then come the thoughts
  of me in me
Shattering my quiet reverie

from the big MT
seeking the serendipitous magical mysteries of life's ubiquitous twisteries

Somehow,
those thoughts
seem to forever
thunder, don't they?

I enjoyed, Joseph.  Thank you.

thank you for the responses.  I forget if it's mindfulness, or mindlessness... but it does inspire.  thank you again
