Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2003-09-28 12:29 PM

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try

The violence in the streets
People defiling His works
Destroying for their own gain
No Hell below us
Because it has over flowed
And lies breathing in the gutters
Above us only sky
Colored gray and various hues of brown
Pollution breathing in our air
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do

With the global economy
Our allies fight us for greed
Playing both sides they will win
Nothing to kill or die for
If there is no love inside
But only hate for all mankind
And no religion, too
For the preachers are in it for greed and sin
Send your cash, do as I say not do
Imagine all the people living life in peace

You may say I'm a dreamer
Because that's all I have left to give
But I'm not the only one
There is a movement growing
I hope someday you'll join us
And make this world a better place
Then the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can

Giving freely, yours and mine
If I help not my brother
I have nothing in the end
No need for greed or hunger
Prepare the way for the Lord
And you shall have all you need
A brotherhood of man
Where none see the color only what's inside
Hatred and lies but a memory
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

You may say I'm a dreamer
Yet you wish you could dream as well
But I'm not the only one
The voices growing ever louder
I hope someday you'll join us
All join hands and we'll pray for peace
Then the world will live as one

(big hugggssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I too pray for this peace and will continue to imagine through John Lennon's eyes and hear through his ears! (wipes tears) John Lennon is truly THE voice of rock and roll and THE voice of a finest man of conviction and love for all of humanity! (smiles) You have done so much justice for him, sweet friend, God Bless You, and beginning with us, may we spread hands to one another and make the world be as one, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ringo, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
