-+Chalice of Hate+-

Loving you was about punishment.
Why? Why couldn't you love me?
Why did you have to always have
a bent toward finding fault always?
You once were the most loving
and gentle and caring man, I thot'
Never did you share much about
you. Why didn't you? Why?
You knew, and still know
My heart is sincere
Why are you all
about punishment
What is wrong
that you can't
Love?
Why
is
every
thing
push
amd
shove?
why not love?
why couldn't you care.

*You gave me a taste of what it was to love you. You lifted the Chalice for my lips to taste.
Why then, did you give me your chalice of Hate? *

Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer!

SharaRose~ This was good and intense, but...
My Mama done told me, hate was an awful strong word to be using!
I understand this, and thoroughly enjoyed your poem.

Could be a lack of conscience, or indifference
I think more than anything, it's about personal circumstances
that we're not aware of,  like doing our own laundry.
Sometimes what we're seeing isn't happening at all.
I'm sorry for your pain~
Don't let it make you bitter~

Hugs SharaRose~

I liked the poem and the format was cool.I suggest filling that chalice with a double shot of Crown Royal and toasting to new beginnings.

This is an awesome write. It takes real talent to design the write like this.
I do agree with jason about re-filling the chalice.. although, I would recommend a nice bottle of Rothschild and charge it to his account.

Hello and thanks to all of you...

BlueSerenade--I don't know if you are male, or female since I don't know you..so I don't know whether to call you ma'am, or sir. I'm not bitter. I'm about solving, and peacable ends. Ma'am, or sir I'm not the one that has threatened the other bodily, and also threatened to lie to their grandchildren. If anyone harbors hate, and is angry and bitter who do you think it is? He's the one that hates so much he can't even think of coming to a peaceful, amicable solution. That's harboring hate. And Yeah, my mama told me teh same, but what would you call bodily harm, and malicious intent toward you and your grandchildren? Thank you for the hugs, but me thinks I would like to talk about airing dirty laundry first. It's ok for a man to make things a matter of public record, but a woman can't say anything to defend herself? Not sure I understand? It's ok for the goose but not for the gander? You take care now. Ya'll come back now,you hear.
Waving...oh, now my arm is getting tired..changing hands, and waving more. bye bye.

Jason Lyle--Good advice, but tell it to him. He's the one that needs to hear, it doesn't just apply to one..it applies to BOTH!

Ringo--Thanks Ringo, but this isn't about revenge, althgouh I have to admit I thought your suggestion was hilarious...You do have a point!!!!! Never thought about it that way.

QJQ--Thanks Q. I appreciate you stopping to read and comment!

n2dmystic--Thank you Joe. I am glad you liked. Thanks for the kind words. It's nice to see the words...good write...

passing shadow--..Wow..this means alot coming from you. I so admire your writes. AMAZING they ALWAYS are. Thanks for reading, and for the comment. It was much appreciated.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Shara, I just read one of passing shadow's poems about this same sort of anguish, sweet friend, and like I said to her, I find it saddening how people tend to look for the defects in ones heart and attempt to lower their spirits and make the feel bad about themselves! And believe me when I say this, I have seen time and time again that those who take the offensive and strike at someone truly are the ones who are sad and have bitter anguish to themselves and only hurt others because they are either jealous or ashamed! (sad sigh) My heart goes out to you, dearest friend, ever since I watched Mr. Rogers every day as a boy and still do whenever I can, I believe everyone is special and it is most rewarding to make someone feel special everyday because not only does it make them feel good, but it also makes you feel good too! God Bless You, sweet friend, this is very heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Shara, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Shara, this is too often the case....even I
have had my moments where I didn't share
very well.  Something about men are "supposed to"
be warriors,  silent,  always keeping things
inside....

Sometimes, only they can learn intimacy and
love by letting open that gate...letting
go...becoming compassionate....and often,
it requires a great deal of self reflection
and honesty with one self.

Like they always say....  You can lead it
to water.....but you can't make it drink!

Basically...all I am saying is He has to
make the changes....

A very honest and well crafted poem....

Thank You...

Please pardon my reply...
I feel badly for inferring what
was only an interpretation of my life and times.

Poetry has a way of doing that~
and I,  in no way meant to over step my bounds.

Peace Shara~

Thank you to both of you. Both of your words to me help me heal.

Noah-- hehe, I am glad to hear I'm not the only one that thought Mr.Rogers was an absolute jewel, and a gem of a man. What a wonderful human being to reach to people, and show them they are worth so much. I won't say anymore in regards to this person, because when someone does everything they can to make a person feel small I feel sorry for them. I have been angry, and said things because I am tired of being made to feel like NOTHING. Well I AM SOMETHING, and it's not what HE says about me. and much love to you Noah...bless ya bunches for your good heart not finding fault with all everyone does. If you look hard enough you can find something wrong in anything and everything, but why not spend the energy looking for the good, and focus on that!!! The rest will fall in to place if a person is shown they have worth they will grow to meet up to that quality. It's there. It's inside ALL of us given a boost, and someone believing in us it will SHINE!!!
Love to you Noah!

Magnus-- Thank you so much. What a wonderful thing you have just done. You didn't know it, but you just gave me hope that there is hope for me. God will bless. Your words are so caring. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Bless ya bunches and bunches!!!!!

Love,
Shara~
