This is for a special someone who thinks she isn't beautiful... I see what's in her heart and soul... and her radiance is unsurpassed... so for her I wrote this...

nightfall came so soon
embraced in gentle twilight
I lie here, my thought wandering
then without even realizing
my thoughts soon dwell upon you
my heart swells with joys untold
as I envision your radiant beauty
that warm smile that melts my heart
fading away all that is dark and cold
leaving only those enchanting pools
oh those eyes, capturing my very soul
losing myself in your glorious splendor
feeling myself slowly slipping into slumber
wondering what it would be like
to know the touch of your skin
to feel those gentle lips
as they press so tenderly to mine
your presence always overwhelms me
the wonders within your heart and soul
filling my being with such happiness
with a gentle smile, I drift into silent dreams
hoping that they are of joys forgotten
if you will come to me this night
and let me feel what I cannot feel
to see what I cannot see
please grant me one wish tonight
that my dreams be only of you
beautiful angel across the distant miles
let my dreams be filled
with the joys that only you can bring
