lying awake i see the world crack

as the face consumes in fear

but my smile fades as the face i see

stares back at me through the mirror

i close my eyes so he can't find me

but my eyes still fill with tears

so i run away for another day

as the days turn into years

    time crawls bye, it's passing me

    and the blur makes the world spin

    but i'm running so fast i cannot see

    so my cry flows out from in.

    i have to stop and withstand the cold

    but the ice beneath is thin.

    so i beg and plead for another chance

    please forgive a young mans sins.
