Found you in a song tonight
one I'd never heard

Spaghetti western plays upon screen
father in sleep he snores

Waking in the moments gun shot
looking like a child

Cat's weaving through the hallway
feet that miss the stone

cold upon bare feet

killing time alone

Found you in a song tonight
one I've never heard

Pouring wine for mother
she's drained another glass

pirouetting playful
always makes her laugh

laughter upon warm eyes

watching house and home

I found you in a song
and kept it to myself

curled among my fathers feet
with my head upon mothers heart

gemma? This is...so...TRUE.

I found a bit of "home" in this.

I leave smiling with the recognition that yes, someone else knows...

thank you.

(and the last two lines? marvelous emphasis of the entire theme.)

(big hugggssssss) Oh Gemma, I agree with Sue ever so much about making this into a song, sweet friend, glimpses of your mother and father fill your heart here along with all the other visions that captivated each moment from the TV screen and living room, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

thankyou. you know this actually was written as a song, i'm no good at it, but yes, it did come from me singing in my head (and out loud)

I do actually like this one, it makes me appreciate my odd little family set up.
