Fading Rose

A season of renewing, a season of hope.
A Robin returning, a sign of the rebirth of the season called spring.
The fragrance of freshly mown grass and the laughter of children.
Spring rain, giving new life to all of natures sleeping beauty.
Tree’s in their exquisite floral splendor with their fragrant bouquets.
Flowers awakening, stretching, from their
long winters nap.

Then the delicate rose begins her gentle awakening-
Her thirsting branches reaching towards the sun,
drinking in the gentle rain
Her leaves of green all fresh and new
The buds small and delicate
Wrapped in a protection of delicate green
Her buds begins to open
She is surrounded in shades of peach and soft coral
Her petals lush and in full bloom
The colors of delicate peach blossom pink,
a touch of ivory,
in the center a sprinkle of soft lemon yellow.

As the seasons change-
She swirls and dances in the
loving arms of the wind.
As she dances with the wind,
she laughs with delight.
She turns, smiles, then changes into the silvery dust of the
beautiful fading rose.

Love Bon-Bon

Wow! I feel the shiver of this. I've been kissed by a rose from the grave.Thanks.
