                            you
               come
         to     me
uncalled
                            unbidden
drawn by        love
                            alone

                        alone I
                come
          to     you
soul                  naked
         the          call of
               your love
         my only
               guide

          silent

irresistible

The words 'soul naked' just captivated my reading here...this is truly beautiful, and written with such a tender touch!  ~S~

Love can hear a voice unspoken
Offers comfort to a heart broken
Love travels its path on faith alone
A call unanswered, it can't condone
It does its best, then slips away
Unless it hears a plea to stay
But it's not gone, it just stays hidden
Till it again appears unbidden
There's no choice but to answer call
If it could ignore, it's not love at all.

Sorry, my friend... I know some people object to poetic responses... I hope you're not one of them... However inadequate, those lines reflect what your words made me feel. *S* I enjoyed your poem immensely!

Wow, Suthern! You ought to post that -- too good to be a sidelight in a thread.
