Upon bloodstained heart
forever beaten red
you made no mark

Foolish boy
it always has
and always will
look this way
it was mind you murdered
fleeing black
leaving the blanks
for me to fill
and grieve

Oh passive love
always missing beats

Despite what they say
its not heart
that bears the burden
of all we see
and all
we never will
nor the turn of shoulder
caught in loves trap
or features of lovers soul
draped across our own

But mind
that carries the weight
no human spine
should be able to hold
I let you into
my home
the only place you don't
physically exist
yet constantly pace
over eyelids

Oh spineless love
I beat drum for end
forget heart pauses

roam longer here

with caution

Instant karma's gonna get you.

(big hugggsssssss) I guess a heart of gold also has to be tender and soft like silk if the spine is going to hold up, as to hold a golden anvil of a heart can easily leave one spineless! (sad sigh) You describe this feeling so well, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

It is a difficult thing
  to tell the difference
  between a heart of gold
  and one of "Fool's" Gold.

You seem to have mastered the art of alchemy Gem. To take the lead of your pain and turn it to the gold of your expressed soul.
Thank you.
