standing on a shadow's lace

0 posted 2003-09-26 02:20 PM

Look

I stand with
my face on
the glass
banging against
the pain
standing like steel
crumbling like foil
screaming
.
.
.
wait

See

Lost
in full view
the pane
of invisible
barriers
that we see
only through
our own eyes
. . .
bang bang
we shadow box

(sorry for your pain, dear lady)

Hmmm...I see that home study course on the virtues of patience needs a little more work.

This is a very clearly stated point of pain.  I hope you resolve this soon.

So easy to see the little girl in this. I feel for her, and this little poem of her and you, makes me wish her wish. The one she's really making.
