Loudly Quiet

every tear
I have
matches yours
in heartbreak
all I
wanted to
do was
love
you

Love alone is easy
just be completely open
privately
without need;
love that seeks
the sensory jolt
of unmet reciprocity
is hard.

The rotten end of the stick usually collapses and the holder gets to fall into the canyon of love hurt.......Like icebox indicated it takes two to give and take mutually.

Good write!

hearts
twinned,
the halves
of a shell

neither
can open
without
the other

break one
and
both
shatter

You've inspired me....I'm going to go post this!
