The green woodlands.

Air where the bloom was;
Showers where the turf was;
clouds like cotton wool,
streams full
darkening skies where the Kestrel was.

No amber for your crown;
No heat within your gown,
beneath the bramble,
your spectre, where your countenance was.

Melancholy gales, where your utterance was;
Grief, so much grief where my heart was;
you ever with me,
your eyes ever with me;
silence where hope was.

Have you seen jack-in -the green he taps his cain on the ground and signals the snowdrops it's time to grow.

Jack I enjoyed this poem, are you sad?
it was beautifully descriptive and powerful.
Don't be sad, life is full of so much beauty and love.

this was an astoundingly beautiful read...very deep feelings and yes, sad, and yet somehow there are many visions of hope refecting in your words.  Beautifully bittersweet and emotional.  Wishing you a better day today, and may goodness and light touch your heart, soul and mind.  Love to you and yours.
