Wandering aimlessly, down a cobblestone walkway
Muted shadows celebrate, under my feet, their odor of elixir accompany
My mind drifting in reverse, like a bus screeching to a stop
A pass-key would shut down all circuits stifling backup
Engines hum as if focusing, briefly for a moment
On a pregnable threshold, seething and weak-kneed
Paintings overstuffed, surrendered uncanny abilities
To sense, what a switch of total impossibilities
Unbreakable indentations, absurdly dancing erasures
Monitoring records, turned wildly into a three-ring circus
Silently, my auxiliary power, outlining thought
Such matters at hand, became more quizzically focused
Nothing suffices an image behind closed doors
When all sublevels and escape routes are entirely sealed
Reckless abandonment sifts aloof through the hours
Nervously in the direction of a trapdoor of powers
Into a lighted endless cave, igniting one fiery meltdown
Rising to treacherous levels, finding myself facedown
Extremely confused & running from advanced mutations
Of all that was ordered, infecting my chromosomes
Stunned and speechless I stood, with a puzzled smiling shalom
I gambled with books, sparing no expense
Not to mention, purging supple concrete religions
While cleaning out files and occasionally wandering back
My fingers groped for any proof of white divine fabric
While spilling their guts, Masters withered, moaning in panic
Then, in the confines of cascading escorted thoughts
I ripped of my negligee, accepting warm smiles which approached
Reaching down within the unlaced confines, abruptly realizing
Having children was a woman’s sacred identity & seed
I pounded at the glass wall, until an apparition left me in
We communed together, expelling all secret mental missions
Faint strains of classical music filled the room with a pause
When, from somewhere a Shaman whispered, “Que Bebe Usted?
“Cranberry with a splash of Smirnoff”, I replied like a purebred
Despite traffic, the scent of Seville oranges leaped around
I was certain it was twilight, but in the yellow pages I found
Right there like truth dreaming, day was yawning without a sound
All bright and blinding a Madonna singing her song
After a long pause I happily pondered my next move
When her voice leaped from nowhere shouting, “Girlfriend get in the groove”!
So, I decided to learn how to fly my own plane
Galvanizing any confusion or cutting edge unexplained
I gradually decelerate misguided waves
To the invisible corridors of a grand mathematician
With a mysterious code and the ability to paint colors living

Awesome, how things change from one day to another
Held hostage at gunpoint by demons quit stellar
Betrayed on all sides, struggling for country and existence
In the end, fighting for the of the man whom I worship

(chuckling).... now that..was a mouth full.

you wrapped me around and then over, in and out, and back again to some ending that in the true end..was perhaps nothing but the beginning ....
hop on the ride again???

you do seem to have a way..of turning words and phrases ... wish I was smart enough to truly get all you are saying sometimes...

comes from me..having a simple mind....

Thanks so much to all of you for taking the time to read and comment.

This poem is speaking of life's religions, and how we've been deceived...and the importance of our faith, respect, honor, to ourselves, and to God/the Gods and to the one person in this world who is always by our side...our spiritual self/God.  and that right I will fight for until my last breath.  Even if in silence, that is something that no one can ever take away, and what also made our Great Masters Great!

Never stop writing and creating, b/c your voices are so important, brilliant and significantly needed.
