The Genie in My Clouds |

Early Morning Thoughts Coming home to the deafening silence pains me into that hopelessness, that permeates the air when calm is too calm, and the absence does make the heart grow fonder. To never say good-bye, to never give it ending, as I sit here supported by my thoughts, influenced by the movies of my past, those films breaking at times, the cracks and tears evidenced, and the black and white giving more expression, than a colored world ever could. A new keyboard to close those gaps and to open "thoserunonwords" censors the real behind my handiwork and I bring those inner thoughts to the surface, let them rise slowly like smoke signals... until the genie in my clouds offers me wishes and I take them in hoping that just one may be granted. Yesterday I tried to take a day out for myself and along the way there was a beautiful cloud lifting up into the bluest sky...forming the smoke that a Genie would appear from, if there was such a thing...it lasted quite awhile. Thank you Vicky, Ron and Glenn M |
